The MBBS curriculum at CNMC&H spans 4.5 years of structured academic instruction followed by a mandatory one-year rotating internship. Students begin with the pre-clinical phase, where they develop a scientific understanding of the human body. This leads into the para-clinical phase, which introduces them to laboratory sciences, pathology, therapeutics, microbes and public health systems. The final and most extended phase is clinical training, where students learn through fundamental patient interactions in outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, emergency rooms, operating theatres and speciality units.

During the internship, students rotate across Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, ENT, Ophthalmology, Community Medicine, and allied specialities.
