All India Institute of Medical Science, also known as AIIMS in India. It is a public medical research university and hospital in India. The institution is governed by the AIIMS Act 1956 and is run under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.
