AILET 2026 Registration: Last Date, Fees, Document & Correction Info

The AILET 2026 registration is ongoing and is about to end on 10^th November 2026. The candidates who are aspiring for the AILET 2026 exam should register as soon as possible on the official website of the NLU Delhi, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.  Every year, thousands of students appear for the exam to get admission in the best law colleges. The exam will be conducted in offline mode on 14^th December 2025.

The AILET 2026 registration process is online, and below is a step-by-step guide:

Step 1: Create an account

• Visit the official website of NLU Delhi, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in, and click on ‘Register to Apply Now’. A registration window will open as shown below:

• Create a new account by providing your full name, email address, date of birth, mobile number, and creating a password.
• Select your nationality.
• After submitting the request, you will receive a verification email. Click on the link and activate your account.

Step 2: Select your course

• The AILET exam is conducted for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
• To select a course, candidates need to select the application form to select one between BA LLB (Hons) and LLM.
• After selecting a course, click on the ‘Apply Now’ button for the next step.

Step 3: Fill out the registration form

• After the confirmation, log in again with your registered email address and password.
• Fill out the personal information, such as name, gender, DOB, category, education details, and nationality.
• Choose your preferred 3 exam centres amongst the 19 centres.
• Upload the required documents according to NLU Delhi’s specifications:
  • Photograph
  • Signature

Step 4: Pay the registration fees

• Pay the AILET application fee. Here’s the details according to the category:
  • General: INR 3,000
  • PwD: INR 1,000
  • SC: INR 1,000
  • ST: INR 1,000

Candidates can get a correction window by NLU Delhi to correct the AILET 2026 application form. The correction window is expected to open for three days just after the registration deadine.

What can candidates edit?

Candidates can modify the following during the correction window:

• Contact details, such as email, mobile number, and address
• Education details
• Uploaded photo and signature (if enabled)
• Exam centre preferences 
• Category according to the documents uploaded

Process to Access the Correction Window

• Visit NLU Delhi’s official website.
• Click on the ‘Already Registered Login’ tab.
• Login using your credentials.
• Further, click on the 'Go to Edit Application Form' tab.
• Provide the correct details in the AILET application form.
• Finally, click on the submit button to save all the changes made.

• Passport-size Photograph
• Signature
• Category Certificate
• Valid Proof of ID
