CAT 2025 Results & Scorecard Download Guide

CAT results 2025 are expected to be released tentatively by the last week of December 2025. The official CAT exam results 2025 release date has not been announced by the IIM. As per the trends of the previous year, the CAT 2025 results are expected to be released within 2-3 weeks after the CAT exam is conducted. IIM Kozhikode will announce the CAT results 2025 at iimcat.ac.in. Candidates who appeared for the test can check out the CAT score by entering the user ID and password on the IIM CAT official website. IIM Kozhikode will announce the CAT results 2025 in online mode only. The CAT conducting body does not issue any hard copies of the CAT scorecard 2025. CAT attendees can download their CAT scorecard pdf 2025 from the official website using their CAT ID and password. Follow the steps to get the CAT scorecard on your phone/desktop.

Step 1: Visit the IIM CAT official website, iimcat.ac.in.

Step 2: Click on “CAT 2025 Score Card Login” tab to view the results.

Step 3: Click on the register button and enter the user ID, password and captcha to view the CAT scorecard 2025.

Step 4: The CAT scorecard 2025 will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Download the CAT results 2025 in pdf format for future reference. 

The details mentioned on the CAT scorecard 2025 are as follows:

• CAT 2025 registration number/user ID
• Candidate's name, category, and gender
• Date of birth
• Date and time of examination
• Candidate contact details and email ID

The raw CAT 2025 score is calculated using the marking criteria mentioned below. The raw scores from all sections are normalised to vary slot difficulty. The raw CAT score is normalised to a percentile to ensure fairness due to the different difficulty levels of slots.

CAT Exam Marking Scheme

• For correct answers, +3 marks will be awarded.
• For incorrect attempts, -1 mark will be deducted.
• No negative marking for non-MCQ-type questions.

A familiar doubt appears in the minds of all candidates after the release of CAT results: what to do after the release of CAT results 2025. Candidates who meet the CAT cutoff marks 2025 will be informed by various IIMs for further selection rounds. IIM selection procedure comprises three rounds, mainly the written ability test (WAT), group discussion (GD), and personal interview (PI). The new IIMs have a common admission process called CAP counselling. MBA admission to 9 IIMs is conducted through the CAP counselling session, which is held by any of the IIMs on a rotational basis every year.

The final selection will be based on academic marks in Class 10 and 12, the bachelor’s degree examination, CAT score, academic diversity, work experience, gender diversity, and performance in the WAT/GD/PI rounds. The composite score achieved by the candidate in all these parameters will be considered to grant an IIM MBA seat.
