CEETA PG 2026 exam dates and registration criteria were announced by Anna University on March 11, 2026. The CEET PG 2026 application window opened at Anna University's official website, tancet.annauniv.edu/tancet, on March 16, 2026. CEETA PG is 2 hours offline mode state-level entrance exam conducted to offer admission to ME/MTech/MArch/MPlan programmes offered by the Anna University-affiliated colleges and other government-aided/non-aided engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. To apply for the CEETA 2026 exam, applicants must meet the minimum eligibility criteria to register and participate in the test. CEETA PG 2026 exam will be held on May 10, 2026. CEETA PG is a Tamil Nadu state-level entrance exam conducted by Anna University to offer admissions to postgraduate programmes such as ME (Master of Engineering), MTech (Master of Technology), MArch (Master of Architecture), and MPlan (Master of Planning). Around 58 major engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu consider the CEET score for admission. All seats are filled through the Common Engineering Admission Procedure (CEAP 2026), managed by Anna University, after the CEETA PG results are released. Anna University released the CEETA PG exam eligibility criteria along with the official notification at the CEETA PG official website. • Applicant must have completed a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (BE/BTech/BArch/BPlan) with a minimum aggregate of 50% marksfrom recognised university. 
• Candidates who possess 10 + 3-year diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE (with 2 years of experience) can apply. 
• GATE-qualified candidates who want admission through the CEETA PG cutoff must register and appear for the CEETA PG exam. 

CEETA PG registration started on March 16, 2026. Before starting registration, make sure all the important documents specified in the notification are available to you for upload or to provide details while filling in the form to avoid mistakes. CEETA registration is an online process, and eligible candidates can visit the CEETA PG registration official website, tancet.annauniv.edu/tancet, to submit the application and pay the exam fee. After the registration window closes, the authority will open form correction window to edit the submitted CEETA PG application form.

CEETA PG is an offline-mode exam with a 2-hour duration. The number of questions asked in the CEETA PG exam is 100 and the total marks is 300. As per the CEET PG Marking schema, +1 mark is awarded for each correct attempt, 0.25 mark is deducted for each incorrect attempt, and no marks are deducted for unattempted questions.

CEETA PG scorecard is expected to be out tentatively by May 2026. The CEETA PG scorecard can be downloaded from the official website using the registration id and password. The validity of the CEETA scorecard is only for one year. Use the scorecard at the time for the further selection process.

CEETA PG counselling is the last step in the admission process of ME/MTech/Mplan/M. Arch programmes to confirm the seats. CEETA PG counselling is done through CEAP (Common Engineering Admission Procedure) by Anna University. Postgraduate course seats of 

University Departments/Regional Campuses/Constituent Colleges of Anna University, Annamalai University, Government and Government-Aided Engineering Colleges are filled through the CEAP counselling round. Candidates who have qualified for the CEETA PG 2026 exam and meet the cutoff are eligible to attend the CEETA PG counselling process.
