CMAT 2026 Results

CMAT result 2026 was released by the National Testing Agency on February 17, 2026. Candidates can check their CMAT score 2026 at exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT by entering credentials, such as registration id, password and security pin. The CMAT scorecard contains personal details of the candidate, sectional/overall CMAT score, CMAT percentile and all India rank of the candidate. Around 1300+ business schools in India accept CMAT scores for MBA admissions in 2026. CMAT results 2026 will be released only online on the NTA CMAT official website. Follow the instructions to download the CMAT scorecard pdf. 

• Visit CMAT results 2026 official website, exams.nta.ac.in/CMAT/.
• Click on the 'Score Card for CMAT – 2026 is LIVE!' link available on the home page. 
• Enter your CMAT 2026 application number, password and security pin.
• Click on the 'login' tab to open the dashboard.
• Download the CMAT 2026 result pdf and take a printout for future reference.

The candidate must verify the information mentioned in the scorecard is correct. If you find any mistakes in your scorecard, report them to the authorities to have them corrected. The same details mentioned on the CMAT scorecard will be verified during the admission process. The details mentioned on the CMAT 2026 scorecard are as follows:

The CMAT score is calculated based on the correct and incorrect attempts made by the candidates. Know how the CMAT score 2026 is calculated from below. 

• For each correct attempt, 4 marks are awarded.
• For each incorrect answer, -1 mark is deducted.
• For each unanswered question, no mark is awarded.
• The CMAT scores are then scaled, normalised and converted to percentile.
• The CMAT total marks is 400. 

The all India rank and merit list of CMAT 2026 is prepared on the basis of the overall result (score and percentile).

CMAT percentile is calculated from scaled scores. The exam attendees' raw scores are normalised to avoid bias in the marking scheme or in the difficulty level of exams across various slots. CMAT percentile is the rank of the candidate divided by the total number of candidates who appeared in the CMAT exam.

Once the results are out, the candidate can apply for MBA admission 2026-28 to the MBA colleges that accept the CMAT score. There is no centralised counselling session organised for CMAT. Most MBA colleges accepting CMAT scores conduct counselling sessions individually. The institutes will shortlist applicants who meet the CMAT cutoff. Shortlisted candidates need to appear for the group discussion and personal interview as per the selection criteria followed by the college.

After all rounds are completed, the college will release the final merit list of selected candidates for admission. The final merit list is prepared based on the composite score obtained by candidates across all parameters, including academic performance, work experience, CMAT cutoff, and performance in the PI and GD rounds.
