CUET PG Registration 2026

CUET PG 2026 registration last date has been extended to January 23, 2026. Eligible candidates can visit the CUET PG official website, exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/, and submit their application to take the test. NTA will accept the applications for the CUET PG exam only in online mode. After the registration closes, NTA will open the CUET correction window on January 28, 2026, and will close by January 30, 2026. The CUET PG exam will be held in March 2026.  CUET PG registration 2026 was started on December 14, 2025. Who is eligible to apply for the CUET exam 2026? The candidate who has passed a bachelor’s degree or is in the final year of graduation can register for the CUET PG 2026 exam. There is no upper age limit to register for the CUET exam. 

How to Apply for CUET PG 2026? 

Follow the instructions to register for CUET PG 2026 and pay the CUET exam fees. The entire registration process involves three main steps: Registration, Form Filling, and Fee Payment.

Step 1: Online Registration

1. Visit the NTA CUET (PG) website /exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/ or www.nta.ac.in.
2. New Registration: Click on the link for "New Candidate Registration" or "CUET PG 2026 Registration."
3. Read the Instructions: Carefully read the instructions and the Information Bulletin. Tick the consent box and proceed.
4. Fill Basic Details: Provide your personal details (Name, Date of Birth, Gender, etc.) and contact information (Mobile Number and Email Address).
5. Create Password & Security Question: Set a password and choose a security question/answer for future access.
6. Receive Application Number: After submission, an Application Number will be generated and sent to your registered mobile number and email. Note this down for all future logins.

Step 2: Fill the Application Form

1. Login: Log in to the portal using your new Application Number and the Password you created.
2. Fill Personal & Academic Details: Complete the detailed application form, including:
   • Personal details (Category, PwD status, etc.).
   • Academic details (Class 10, 12, and Bachelor's degree information).
3. Choose Exam Cities: Select your preferred cities for the examination center. The choice is often limited to the State/UT of your Permanent and Present Address.
4. Select Course/University: Choose the specific postgraduate programs and participating Universities you wish to apply for. You may select a limited number of test papers (e.g., up to four).
5. Upload Documents: Upload scanned images of the required documents, ensuring they meet the specified file size and format (usually JPEG/JPG):
   • Candidate's recent Photograph: 
   • Candidate's Signature.
   • PwD Certificate (if applicable).

Step 3: Pay the examination fee 

Based on your category and the number of test papers you have selected. Pay the required CUET application fee using the integrated payment gateway (Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI).

Step 4: Download Confirmation Page: After successful payment, the Confirmation Page will be generated.

CUET PG Registration 2026: Documents Required

CUET PG Registration 2026 is now live at cuet.nta.nic.in, and getting your documents ready first saves you time during CUET registration and CUET PG counselling. The important documents required at the time of CUET registration 2026 are as follows:

• Recent passport-size photo (colour, white background, 3.5x4.5 cm, 10-200 KB JPEG)
• Scanned signature (10-50 KB JPEG on white paper)
• Class 10th & 12th marksheets (scanned copies)
• Valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License)
• Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwD, 50-300 KB PDF if applicable)
