IPMAT Paper Pattern 2026: Marking Scheme, Syllabus

The IPMAT Indore 2026 exam consists of three sections, including Quantitative Ability (MCQs), Quantitative Ability (SA), and Verbal Ability (MCQs). Each section lasts 40 minutes. The IPMAT 2026 exam is conducted for admission to a 5-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) at top IIM institutes, such as IIM Indore, IIM Amritsar, and others. Here’s a detailed IPMAT Indore exam pattern 2026:

Note: candidates are required to answer the sections in a pre-specified order, which will remain the same for all candidates.

The IPMAT 2026 candidates with a qualifying score will be eligible for personal interview (stage 4). A sufficient number of candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interview (PI) from the eligible pool (refer Stage- 3) for each category, including General, EWS, NC-OBC, SC, ST, and PwD. The selection will be based on the merit list generated based on ATS (Aptitude Test Score). The table below is a detailed computation of the ATS (Aptitude Test Score):

Shortlisted candidates in stage 3 will appear for the Personal Interview (PI) through online/offline mode, which institute will inform the candidates. IIM Indore expects the candidates to score a minimum score in different parameters of PI, which will be decided by the Admissions Committee. Candidates who did not score well in any of the parameters of the PI will not be eligible for the next selection process.

Candidates who perform well in the PI will be considered in the final selection process. IIM Indore will generate a category-wise list based on the Composite Score (CS), and provisional admissions offers will be made, adhering to the Government of India reservation norms.
