Karnataka PGCET 2026 Registration: Fees, Documents Required

Karnataka PGCET 2026 applications opened on 26th March 2026, and candidates can start registering on the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/pgcet2026. The last date to register for PGCET 2026 is 8th April 2026. Meanwhile, the last date to pay the Karnataka PGCET application fee is on 10th April 2026. 

Candidates will be able to download the PGCET admission ticket 2026 only after confirmation of payment receipt. KEA has also released the information brochure and syllabus on the official website to ensure effective preparation for the candidates.

The KEA PGCET 2026 exam dates are scheduled for May 24, 2026, for MBA and MCA, and for May 23, 2026, for ME or M.Tech courses. Candidates aspiring for MBA, MCA, ME, M.Tech, and M.Arch admissions must complete the online registration by the deadline.

Before applying for Karnataka PGCET 2026, candidates are required to meet the following eligibility criteria:

Karnataka PGCET MBA Eligibility

Candidates are required to hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% (25% for the reserved category) for MBA admission. For the PGCET 2026 exam, candidates aspiring for a part-time MBA admission should have a minimum of 3 years of experience.

Karnataka PGCET MCA Eligibility

Candidates aspiring for MCA admission in Bangalore colleges through PGCET are required to have one of the following degrees with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for the reserved category):

• BCA
• BSc with Mathematics 
• BE or B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent degree
• B.Com with Mathematics

Managed by KEA, the Karnataka PGCET 2026 registration process is completely online. The PGCET 2026 application is currently open, and the last date to submit the application is April 08, 2026. Candidates are required to follow the steps below to complete the Karnataka PGCET 2026 application process:

Step 1: Visit the official website

•  Visit the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.
• Once the applications are open, you can see the ‘PGCET Application 2026’ tab on the home page and open it.

Step 2: New user registration

• Click on Register or New User.
• Enter your name, email address, DOB, and mobile number.
• After submitting, you will receive your user ID and password. Save it for future reference.

Step 3: Fill PGCET 2026 application details

• Sign in to the PGCET 2026 application form using the provided username and password.
• Enter both your academic and personal details, such as name, address, category, and 10th, 12th, and Bachelor’s marks.
• Further, select your preferred courses and exam stream.

Step 4: Upload all the required documents

• Upload all required documents, ensuring they meet the format and size specifications specified in the application instructions.

Step 5: Pay the application fee

• Pay the Karnataka PGCET 2026 application fee of INR 700 (indicative) via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or e-challan by April 10, 2026.

Step 6: Review and submit the application

• After the payment, review every detail, as any error may affect eligibility or future processes.
• Submit the application form and download a copy for future reference.

Note: SC candidates are required to specify their community category under the SC category they belong to, as the Government of Karnataka has provided internal reservation to SC candidates in Category A, Category B, and Category C. Meanwhile, they should obtain a SC certificate containing internal reservation details from the concerned Tahsildar in the prescribed format and mention the RD number in the application.

Before starting to fill out the Karnataka PGCET application form 2026, candidates are required to be ready with the following documents:

• Scanned copies of passport-size photographs, left thumb impression, and signature.
• Class 10th and 12th markscards
• Valid proof of ID
• Active mobile number and email ID
• All semester markscards of the qualifying degree and degree certificate
• Caste and income certificate
• Study certificate
• Work experience certificate for part-time courses and GATE score card, if applicable.

Although KEA has not released the official notification yet, based on past trends, the Karnataka PGCET 2026 application correction window is expected to open in May 2026. During this period, candidates will be able to edit certain details on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in, for a limited time after the application process closes. Candidates may update sections such as contact and address information, uploaded documents (if applicable), and category details. However, applicants are advised to carefully review all entries before final submission, as changes to the candidate’s name, registration number, selected exam course, or valid proof details are not permitted once the form is submitted.
