KEA has announced a special update for SC category candidates regarding the RD number, which has to be updated by 30th March 2026. SC category candidates who have applied for KCET 2026 must upload the caste certificate with the internal reservation details printed, including Category-A, Category-B, and Category-C, from the concerned Tahsildar. Furthermore, they should enter the RD number of the obtained caste certificate in the KCET 2026 online application.

• SC candidates entering the RD number of the earlier caste certificate without the internal reservation details printed will not be considered.
• SC students should enter the updated RD number in the application by the editing deadline, i.e., March 03, 2026.
• Only SC candidates who have entered their RD number will be considered for seat allotment in the respective category.
