TANCET Registration 2026: Process & Documents Guide

Anna University has announced the TANCET 2026 registration dates, starting from 16th March 2026, on the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu. The TANCET 2026 registration last date is 10th April 2026. The TANCET 2026 exam will be conducted across 15 cities in India. TANCET 2026 Application: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are appearing for the TANCET 2026 exam are required to meet the following eligibility criteria:

TANCET 2026 MBA Eligibility Criteria

• Should hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university of a minimum of 3 years duration, with a score of at least 50% for the General category and at least 45% for the reserved category belonging to Tamil Nadu.
• The degree should be of 10 + 2 + 3 / 4 /5 years pattern, 10 + 3 years Diploma +2/3 years pattern, 10 + 2 + AMIE* + 2 Yrs of experience, or 10 + 3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE* + 2 Yrs of experience. 

TANCET 2026 MCA Eligibility Criteria

• Should hold a Bachelor’s degree in BCA or BSc from a recognised university of a minimum of 3 years duration, with a score of at least 50% for the General category and at least 45% for the reserved category belonging to Tamil Nadu.
• Mathematics is a compulsory subject at the 10+2 or graduation level.
• The degree should be of 10 + 2 + 3 / 4 / 5 years Pattern, 10 + 3 years Diploma + 2/3 years Pattern, or 10 + 2 + AMIE* + 2 Yrs of experience/10 + 3 years diploma (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE* + 2 Yrs of experience

Candidates who are seeking to appear for TANCET 2026 should follow the seven steps to complete the application. The TANCET application for 2026 will open from 16th March 2026, and below are the steps candidates should follow to be eligible to download the admit card:

Step 1: Registration

• Visit the official website, tancet.annauniv.edu.
• Click on the online registration link.
• Enter the email ID, mobile number, DOB, candidate’s number, password, SSLC registration number, community, nativity, and choice of examination.
• Click on the submit button to complete registration.

Step 2: Log in to the Application Form

• After completing the registration, candidates are required to log in to the application form using their email ID and password.

Step 3: Enter Personal Information

• After logging in, enter personal details, including:
  • Gender
  • Nationality
  • State
  • Religion
  • Community
  • State
  • Sub-caste Code
  • Srilankan Tamil Refugee
  • Annual Income of Parent/Guardian
  • Differently Abled (if any)
  • Address
  • District
  • Pincode

Step 4: Enter Educational Details

• Further, enter educational details, including SSLC/10th, HSC/Diploma, or Qualifying Degree information. The information includes:
  • Registration Number
  • Year of passing
  • Maximum Marks and Obtained Marks
  • CGPA and other required details

Step 5: Fill Exam Details

• After filling in the education details, candidates are required to choose the city from the TANCET exam centres. Meanwhile, they should also choose the desired course name for admission. After the selection, click on the ‘save and continue’ tab.

• Upload community certificate only in pdf format
• Upload photo and signature in the following format and size:

Step 7: Pay the Application Fee

• Pay the TANCET 2026 application fee for the relevant course.

Step 8: Submit the Application

• After filling out the application, check all the details carefully, and click on the submit button
• Pay the application fee and submit the application. After making the payment, download the application for future reference.
