GITAM is an institute duly approved by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and Affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU, Rohtak, Haryana) & Haryana State Board of Technical Education (HSBTE, Panchkula) . GITAM is also Recognized under Section 2(f) of UGC Act , 1956. GITAM has been treading the path of rapid development as per a neatly charted action plan since its inception in 2008. The same is reflected in our results and placements. 725 students are University Rankers in 2019-20 Exams out of which 30 students secured 1st Position in the University. 15 students of GITAM received Gold Medals in MDU Convocation. 300+ companies visited the campus for the Placement Drive. GITAM is Ranked 65th across India and 15th in North India by Times Engineering Institute Ranking Survey 2022 by Times of India.
