Suresh Gyan Vihar University (SGVU) in Jaipur traces its roots to the visionary efforts of Shri Kamlakar ‘Kamal’ and Acharya Shri Purushottam ‘Uttam’, who founded Sahitya Sadawart in 1938 amid Rajasthan's feudal era, when education was scarce for the poor, women, and lower castes. This pioneering institution spread free knowledge through peripatetic teachers, evolving into schools and colleges that blended traditional wisdom with modern methods, laying the groundwork for Jaipur's rise as an education hub.
