About us
Udupi Group of Institutions, Manipal, began its educational mission in 2002, laying the foundation with two pioneering colleges: Udupi Institute of Hotel & Tourism Science, affiliated with Mangalore University, and Udupi College of Nursing, aligned with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru, both established under the Government of Karnataka's approval.
Over time, as student interests expanded beyond healthcare and hospitality streams, the institution gradually broadened its academic portfolio. Among the newer additions is the BCA degree course, designed for students interested in computer science, programming, and the rapidly evolving IT industry. The introduction of the BCA program reflects the institution’s effort to align its offerings with emerging career pathways in technology and digital innovation.
Acknowledging the varied academic pursuits of its students, the institution also expanded its healthcare education with the establishment of Udupi School of Nursing, approved by the Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board, Bengaluru, alongside Udupi College of Physiotherapy. These additions further strengthened the institution’s commitment to providing diverse professional education opportunities for aspiring students.
