About Seshadripuram Law College
The College which is in the heart of the city, was started during 1984-85 under the aegis of the Seshadripuram Educational Trust. The Trust started the Institution with a cherished ambition to impart legal education which is a very important step towards spreading legal awareness and empowering the helpless in the society. The College is affiliated to Karnataka State Law University, Hubli and recognized by Bar Council of India, New Delhi. It conducts three years LL.B. Course since 1984. From 2004-05 Five Year LL.B. law course has been started. The college has a Governing Council duly constituted by Seshadripuram Educational Trust. Sri K. Krishnaswamy, advocate has been the Chairperson of the Governing Council. All the members of the Governing Council are accomplished academicians, legal luminaries, management experts and persons of eminence in public service. Governing Council meets regularly four times a year to review academic and administrative work.
