Chanakya Merit-cum-Means Scholarship 2025-26
The Chanakya Merit-cum-Means Scholarship is designed to support academically outstanding students who also demonstrate financial need. This initiative enables deserving students to pursue higher education without financial constraints, ensuring that talent and dedication are recognized and rewarded.
📌 Eligibility Criteria
1️⃣ Financial Eligibility (Indicative Slab)
✔ Annual Family Income Less than ₹3 Lakhs → 100% Scholarship
✔ Annual Family Income Between ₹3-6 Lakhs → 75% Scholarship
✔ Annual Family Income Between ₹6-8 Lakhs → 50% Scholarship
2️⃣ Academic Eligibility
✔ 85% and above in 10th and 12th grades
3️⃣ Performance in CSET (Chanakya Scholarship Eligibility Test)
✔ Students must secure 50% and above in the entrance test
📌 Selection Process
Candidates will be assessed based on multiple criteria:

📌 Application & Selection Process
1️⃣ Register & Apply
Candidates must fill out the online application form via NPF.
Upload required documents (Mark sheets, Aadhaar card, Income Certificate).
2️⃣ Submit Statement of Purpose (SOP)
Upload a motivation letter detailing aspirations and financial need.
A recommendation letter from the College Principal is encouraged.
3️⃣ Document Verification
The university’s internal team will verify submitted documents.
Eligible students will be invited to take the Chanakya Scholarship Entrance Test (CSET).
4️⃣ CSET Examination
Conducted via MeritTrac.
Students scoring 50% and above will proceed to the next round.
5️⃣ Online Interview
A panel of three experts will conduct the interview.
Depending on performance, some candidates may have to attend a second round.
6️⃣ Background Verification
A university team will visit the candidate’s home for verification.
Required documents will be collected as per university guidelines.
7️⃣ On-Campus Engagement
Shortlisted students will be invited for an on-campus interaction with the Deans.
8️⃣ Final Selection & Admission Confirmation
The final list of selected students will be published on the university website.
Letter of Confirmation will be sent between 12th – 15th July 2024.
Selected students must complete their admission process within a week.
