The Department of Management Studies (DMS), IIT Delhi, is a result of the revolutionary idea that an institution of stature in the field of technology education may also provide management education to current and future managers in the appropriate functional areas. What began as a small project blossomed into the Centre for Management Studies in 1993 through an amendment to the IIT Delhi statutes, becoming one of the most popular destinations for young boys and girls seeking jobs in industries in the early 1990s.
