About us
Abhilashi Institute of Management Studies (AIMS) along with several other programmes form a part of the Abhilashi Group of Institution managed and run by the Abhilashi Educational Society founded by late Sh. Tulshi Ram Abhilashi (1940-2005) on 21st May, 2001. Beside other multifaculties, the commerce and Business Management faculty run BCA, BBA and MBA since 2005 with average intake of 60 students in each course which are duly approved by AICTE and the Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla/ H.P. Technical University, Hamirpur. The Institute is located at Ner Chowk in District Mandi of Himachal Pradesh. It is on the way from Shimla / Chandigarh to Mandi / Manali adjacent to NH-21 at a distance of 12kms from the District Head Quarter. Institute has road, transport, fully furnished class rooms, laboratories, computer centers, library, canteen, playground, gymnasium, seminar, conference halls and other infrastructural facilities. The campus is surrounded by greenery and beautiful landscape. Ner Chowk is also a industrial town, adjacent to which a national level hospital and medical college along with other educational institutions are being established. The place will be known for modern and educational facilities.
The institution has highly competent, qualified, sincere and dedicated teaching faculty members who are recruited in accordance with the procedure and norms of University Grant Commission, AICTE and Himachal Pradesh University Shimla. The Institution has exhibited satisfactory results and provides placement facilities under special arrangement by the Marketing and Placement officer of AIMS. The Institutes is headed by the former Dean Students Welfare and a senior Professor of Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.
