Highlights M.Sc Environmental Science program provides students with an understanding of key concepts in Environmental Science using a problem-based approach in a series of seminars and field and lab practical, which enable the students to apply the concepts in freshwater, marine and atmospheric environments. Key skills training in the research process, a fundamental calculation for environmental science, and finding and using sources is included in this module. Program Objectives: This course is designed to provide foundation knowledge of environmental issues and problem solving strategies at national as well as at global level. A student who successfully completes this course should be able to demonstrate the following: 1. Knowledge and skills needed to measure environmental problems and other ecological concepts. 2. Understanding of diversity issues as they interact with the environmental problems. 3. Understanding of the use of environmental strategies and remediation techniques to solve environmental problems. 4. Understanding the basic principles of environmental pathways and phenomenon related to environmental issues at global level. 5. Ability to apply this skill to the evaluation of the environmental problems and related disciplines at industrial and corporate sectors.

Apex Professional University (APU) is a Statutory University established by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh vide Act 07 of 2013 and recognized by the UGC, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India, New Delhi u/s 2(f) of UGC Act, 1956 as State Private University. Apex Professional University is empowered to award degrees specified by University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956. APU is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU), New Delhi and also approved by regulatory bodies like Council of Architecture (CoA), Bar Council of India (BCI), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE).
Apex Professional University (APU) is part of the Apex Education Group and manifestation of the divine vision of Revered Acharya Dhanwant Singh to establish Pioneer Gurukul in Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) on the lines of ancient Gurukul – Nalanda and Taxila. Apex Professional University is an autonomous body set up by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh through Apex Professional University Act passed by the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Scheme. After the ascent of His Excellency Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Apex Professional University Act 2012 (No. 7 of 2013) notified by Government of Arunachal Pradesh in the official Gazette of Arunachal Pradesh vide notification No. LAW/LEGN-17/2012 dated 10th May, 2013.
Apex Professional University, Arunachal Pradesh is included in the list of approved Universities maintained by University Grants Commission (UGC) and Association of Indian Universities (AIU). APU is empowered to award Degrees as specified University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of HRD, Government of India under section 22 of UGC Act, 1956. Apex Professional University (APU) has never affiliated any institution, nor study center in any part of the country other than its main campus at Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh.
