Highlights This degree focuses on developing psychomotor skills and exposing students to skill-based exercises, which will prepare them to be effective educators. BEd students also learn about interdisciplinary subjects, including human physiology and sports science. They may even find themselves in the limelight at major national sports events or recruited as athletes. And if you love teaching, there are numerous career options for BEd graduates, such as those in Biomedical Engineering or Health and Fitness Management. Students who study physical education are prepared for a career as a teacher or a fitness trainers. This course takes two years to complete, and graduates are usually hired by different government agencies. In addition, graduates can often secure major positions in international sports events, or as ambassadors for government policies promoting physical education. The course also prepares students to take on post-graduate courses, such as M.A. or M.Phil. in education, or even a doctoral degree.
