(i) Admission to B.Ed. shall be made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per policy of State Government/U.T. Administration and Panjab University.
(ii) Eligibility: A person who possesses the following qualifications shall be eligible to join the course:
(a) Candidates with at least Fifty Percent Marks either in Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in Science/Social Sciences/Humanities/Commerce/Home Science/B.B.A./B.C.A., B.A.L.L.B., B. Com.L.L.B., or Bachelors in Engineering and Technology with specialization in science and mathematics with 55% marks OR any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme. However, while calculating merit, marks obtained in the graduation (the lower qualifying degrees) only will be considered for admission to the B.Ed. course.
(b) The reservation and relaxation for SC/ST/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of the central/state government whichever is applicable.
