MHT CET 2026 Registration

State Cell, Maharashtra, has closed the MHT CET registration 2026. Candidates were applying on the MHT CET official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. The candidate must first register on the CET portal, then apply for the MHT CET 2026 exam. To complete the MHT CET application, candidates had to pay the applicable fee. Meanwhile, the MHT CET application fee 2026 has been hiked by INR 200-300, depending on the candidate’s category. Candidates aspiring for B.Tech, B.Pharm, BPlan, and integrated B.Tech-M.Tech, and D.Pharm, Pharm.D courses in Maharashtra should apply by 12 February, 2026. 

To be eligible for the MHT CET 2026 admit card, ensure to complete the registration by 12th February 2026. Below is detailed information on MHT CET 2026 registration.

The state cell, Maharashtra, has announced the final exam dates for the MHT CET exam 2026 for both session 1 and session 2. The schedule is as follows: 

• MHT CET exam date 2026 for session 1 for PCM group: 11 April - 20 April, 2026
• MHT CET exam date 2026 for session 1 for PCB group: 21 April - 26 April, 2026
• MHT CET exam date 2026 for session 2 for PCM group:12 May - 16 May, 2026
• MHT CET exam date 2026 for session 2 for PCB group: 10 May - 11 May, 2026

• Candidates are required to pass class 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 45% for general categories and 40% for reserved categories.
• The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

The MHT CET registration link is closed. The Maharashtra CET activated the MHT CET 2026 registration from 10th January to 24th February 2026. The following is a step-wise breakdown on how to apply for the MHT CET 2026 exam:

Step 1: Visit the official website

• Visit the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org and click on ‘CET (Examination) portal for A.Y. 2026-27’.

Step 2: Register

• Click on the register tab and enter your email ID, password, full name, and DOB and register yourself.

• Once registered, you will receive an MHT-CET login ID and password. Save it for future use.
• Further, log in using the credentials you received. Enter personal details, academic qualifications, subject group selection, and domicile and category information.

Step 3: Verify your Aadhar and APAAR ID

• Further, click on ‘Process to Digilocker’ to authenticate yourself with Aadhar and AAPAR ID for the MHT CET registration process.
• Choose your preferred exam centres from the list of most preferred.
• Upload all the required documents.

Step 4: Pay the MHT CET Application Fee

• Pay the MHT CET application fee depending on your category and subject selection.
• After the payment, review and submit the application form and download a copy of the confirmation page.

CET introduced a major 2026 update to the document requirements, requiring candidates to have a valid Aadhaar and APAAR ID at registration. The Maharashtra State CET cell has introduced this to maintain transparency, accuracy, and digital integration in the examination process. Note: Candidates can pay the MHT CET application fee after submitting the application form through UPI, Mobile Wallet, Net Banking, or UPI.

Before applying for MHT CET registration 2026, check the must-follow instructions to avoid rejection:

• Candidates must complete registration only on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org, where they can also download the admit card, score card, and access updates.
• Verifying Aadhaar and APAAR ID is mandatory via Digilocker.
• While filling out the MHT CET 2026 application, the candidate should enter their full name as per their 10th marks card and should provide DOB, gender, and nationality correctly.
• Choose either PCM, PCB, or both PCM and PCB exam groups.
• Should choose the exam centres in the order of preference, as CET Cell will be allocating based on preference, availability, and capacity.
• Upload passport size photograph and scanned signature in the mentioned format and file size. Ensure the image is not blurred, and the sizes are not mismatched.
• When paying the MHT CET application fee, ensure you have a stable internet connection, complete the payment before logging out, and save the payment receipt after a successful transaction.
• After submitting the application, download a copy of the application page.

Maharashtra CET cell has opened an online edit window for MHT CET registered candidates. The MHT CET correction window 2026 is open from 5th March to 7th March 2026. Candidates will be able to edit only a few of their submitted details, including:

• Candidate’s Name
• Date of Birth
• Photograph
• Signature
• Gender
• Add Group
• Add Second Attempt

• Visit the CET 2026 official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
• Once active, click on the application correction link.
• Log in using the provided credentials.
• The submitted application form will appear. Make the necessary changes in the allowed fields.
• After rectifying, submit the application form and download the confirmation.
