The Placement Office assists students in looking at employment and career opportunities globally. Through counseling they are guided in career planning where the students collect information about their interests, aptitudes and abilities which then enables them to make more effective career choices.
The Placement Office also has professional development as one of its objectives by imparting training in various skills that the students require to become employable i.e. resume writing, group discussions and interview techniques which consequently allows them to get into a preferred job occupation and/or apply to reputed postgraduate and professional schools.
The Placement Office takes the initiative to discover new career opportunities for graduates and postgraduates by visiting new companies and unexplored sectors. The campus recruitment drive is a yearly event. The selection procedure commonly begins with a pre-placement talk in which a company/organization presents to the students information on the company profile, job profile, career path, CTC etc. and this is then followed by the actual selection process i.e. written test, group discussion, interview etc.
The University has very good facilities that make campus recruitment a nice experience. A student placement representative from each class is also there to help throughout the selection process.
