The admission process at Woxsen University is designed to be comprehensive, transparent, and accessible, ensuring that students are evaluated holistically based on their composite score, which includes academic performance, entrance test scores, psychometric assessment, and personal interview. It begins with the release of the admission notification on the university's official website at woxsen.edu.in, usually around March-April, announcing the opening of applications for the upcoming academic year. Students can apply online by visiting the official website, where they must complete the application form with accurate personal, academic, and contact details and pay the ₹1,000 application fee. The first step in the admission process is appearing for the Woxsen Aptitude Test (WAT), a two-hour, 200-mark online exam covering quantitative aptitude, English, reasoning, reading comprehension, and general knowledge, with no negative marking. Alternatively, students can submit their CUET (Common University Entrance Test) or SAT scores instead of the WAT, provided they meet the university's minimum qualifying criteria. Required documents include 10+2 mark sheets, transfer certificate, school-leaving certificate, ID proof (Aadhaar card or passport), photographs, and category certificates, if applicable. After clearing the WAT or submitting CUET/SAT scores, shortlisted candidates are invited to complete a psychometric test that assesses their personality traits, interests, aptitudes, and suitability for the chosen specialisations. Following the psychometric test, candidates participate in a personal interview, where they are evaluated on their communication skills, critical thinking, motivation, and alignment with the university's values and academic culture. The final admission decision is based on a composite score that combines academic performance, entrance test scores, psychometric results, and personal interview assessments, ensuring a holistic evaluation of each candidate. Once selected, candidates receive an official admission offer letter via email that includes details about the program, any scholarship (if applicable), the fee structure, and instructions for paying the commitment fee to secure their seat. Students are given one week to accept the offer by paying the commitment fee, after which they must complete the full fee payment online or at the campus to confirm their admission. The university offers merit-based scholarships of up to 50% on tuition fees, awarded automatically based on entrance test scores, with additional scholarships for early decision applicants and scholar round applicants. Sports scholarships are also available to student-athletes demonstrating exceptional skill and promise, providing access to World-class facilities at Woxsen's 60-acre sports arena.
