Highlights We offer a four-year B.A. (Hons) degree with a third-year exit option. In our programme, students are expected to take charge of their own academic path, working with the support of faculty mentors to choose a major that makes sense for their professional, personal, and civic goals. Successful applicants will be able to choose from any of the majors we offer, and students will not be required to declare their major until the middle of the second year. Currently, the majors on offer are Economics, Psychology and Sociology. During their first three semesters, students will complete the required foundational courses while exploring their intellectual interests through electives. The second and third years will be devoted to major and minor coursework, while the fourth and final year will focus on individual research, internships, and vocational training.
1. Applicants appearing for their class 12 examinations from any of the Boards affiliated to the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE) or National or International Boards recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with a minimum of 60% or equivalent in their class 12 examination are eligible to apply.
2. AIU recognizes and grants equivalence to systems of education subject to a minimum of 12 years of schooling.
3. For Cambridge/lGCSE examinations and the approved British Examination bodies a minimum five subjects including English at the O Level and three subjects at the A Level will be required for the student to be eligible to apply.
4. For the lB Students for General Strand (Arts, Commerce, Science and Law) graduating with 2 DP Subjects with at least 01 subjects at HL Level and minimum 3 points in each DP subject are eligible to apply. IB students are required to have English as a compulsory subject.
IB Course (i.e. IB Certificate) can apply provided that they have secured minimum of 24 credits and passed minimum of three subjects at Higher Level (HL) and three at Standard Level (SL)
For the IB Diploma awarded by IBO, Geneva, 24 points with 3 subjects at Higher Level (HL) and 3 subjects at Standard Level (SL) are required for the student to be eligible to apply.
5. Applicants who are Foreign Nationals/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/ Non-Resident Indians (NRls)/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) must have passed the qualifying examination or equivalent from any system of education as recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with a minimum aggregate of 60% or equivalent.
6. The applicant is not required to have completed an entrance examination like the SAT, ACT, or CUET. However, applicants will have the option of submitting these scores for the Selection Committee’s consideration.
