Suresh Gyan Vihar University (SGVU) in Jaipur traces its roots to the visionary efforts of Shri Kamlakar ‘Kamal’ and Acharya Shri Purushottam ‘Uttam’, who founded Sahitya Sadawart in 1938 amid Rajasthan's feudal era, when education was scarce for the poor, women, and lower castes. Gyan Vihar School launched in 1994 to fuse Eastern and Western pedagogy, followed by the Gyan Vihar School of Engineering & Technology in 1999 over 32 acres, embracing cutting-edge science.
