Orientation

In the beginning, students are taken through orientation sessions where they explain - From what’s next in the placement process to who has recruited how much in these areas and how it was last year. The placements are coordinated by the Placement Director/Chief Placement Officer and other senior members of faculty.

Data Capture

Students are required to fill a standardized form giving their personal and academic details which enables placement team to match them with most appropriate job opening based on company requirements.

Student Mapping

Conversations and assessments ensure the placement team knows each student’s interests and abilities. From there, they match students with companies that are a good fit and bring recruiters on campus.

Placement Training

Special training is conducted for every student who wants to apply for placements named the Campus Recruitment Leadership Training Programme, in association with Institute of Skills(IOS). It consists of practice in aptitude tests, group discussion, mock interviews, guest lectures, workshops and alumni interactions for confidence building and increase skills.

Recruitment Process

Note that the hiring process varies based on the recruiting company’s procedure. At times, when the number of applicants for a job is relatively less, selectin may also take place outside at different places to the convenience of the company.

Final Selection

After that, interviews and written tests are concluded companies share with you their final list of designed few students. A successful student is then contacted by the placement team.
