FDP at IIM Kozhikode (Faculty Development Programme)
Faculty Development Programme is designed for academic teachers, trainers, and researchers who want to improve their teaching and research skills. It aims to enhance classroom delivery, develop pedagogical techniques, and advance research capabilities to support academic growth. The programme includes training in case teaching, research methods (both qualitative and quantitative), academic writing, and data analysis. ‘Hands-on’ learning sessions are conducted interactively through workshops, discussions, and group work. Delivered in short, flexible modules, the FDP allows participants to upgrade their skills without leaving their institutions for long periods. Upon completing the program, instructors often report increased self-efficacy and knowledge, leading to better student engagement, scholarly publications, and innovative course design.
