Established in 1969 as Christ College, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) has been a pioneer in reshaping Indian higher education through its forward-thinking academic model and global best practices. Recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the college was granted autonomous status in 2004 and was acknowledged as an Institution with Potential for Excellence in 2006.
