The Centre for Placements and Skill Development is committed to student empowerment by increasing employability and career readiness. Using a comprehensive approach to training in technical and soft skills, we educate students about the knowledge and competencies necessary for success in their program, while also aligning to industry expectations. 

Functions 

• Job and internship sourcing: Identify and source job and internship opportunities for final-year undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students across various schools. 
• Academy-industry collaboration: Enhance the interaction between industry and academia through guest lectures, seminars and workshops, and more. Bridge the skills gap between student capabilities and industry expectations. 
• Soft-skill development: Provide soft-skill development for final-year students at the start of the academic year. Simply prepare students for the placement process, including resume building, interviewing skills, and professional communication. 
• Recruiter relationship management: Sustain existing recruiter relations. Reach out to potential recruiters using placement brochures, LinkedIn, alumni networks, and direct outreach.
• Campus recruitment management: Ensure recruiters have an efficient experience when they come to campus, including managing logistics, snacks/drinks, etc.
• Campus communication: Communicate timely updates to all stakeholders related to placements, including students, professors and administration. 
• Placement Documentation and Compliance: Maintain records of placement.
