Libraries & Labs

The Digital VLSI design laboratory: Individual focused mainly on integrated circuits, device modeling, and digital systems but utilizes industry-standard EDA tools. It also includes a research group that is focused on digital and analog design, device modeling, and testing, and regularly publishes in international journals.

The MECHANICAL LAB: This laboratory has been outflanked to encourage applied and advanced research in thermal sciences, manufacturing, CAD/CAM, and engineering design. It has excellent facilities, information, placements, and worldwide global contacts between students and scholars.

The ELECTRICAL MACHINES LAB: This lab opens its doors to second-year students for experimental practice on transformers, DC machines, induction motors, and synchronous machines as practical courses in practical learning.

WORKSHOP: It is a workshop where students are taught industrial machinery and manufacturing processes. These include carpentry, fitting, welding, foundry, etc., and are meant for first-year practical sessions.

Hostel 

Welcome to the HKBK as, all in all, it hosts some of the best-created hostels that provide a supplemental residence life experience.

There are well-constructed and highly-maintained very much separate boys' and girls' hostels with devoted staff for the smooth functioning and well-being of the students.

For local students within a 30 km radius, hostel stay is mandatory. International students also enjoy on-campus accommodation that is safe and comfortable.

Some of the facilities include:

Boys' hostel and girls' hostel are 2 km away and have bus access. A furnished single and double room Wi-Fi, power backup, and 24/7 security. Gym, badminton court, dining areas, safe drinking water, and hygiene focus. Flexible menus and medical support are also provided.

Sports

Sports, according to HKBK are significant contributors to well-rounded persons.

We committed to great sports programs and facilities with experienced coaching like Dr. Arshad Pasha that would bring out their full potential in students.

Department of Physical Education and Sports

The Physical Education & Sports Science Department has a major portion of campus life that involves students, staff, and people from the local community in sports, recreation, and leisure. Fitness, wellness, social interaction, and leadership development are integrated into a modern and safe environment.

Student-Athlete Support Services

Academic Counseling. Individual counselling by Mr. Arshad Pasha to facilitate the student-athlets in balancing academics and sports vis-a-vis goal setting, study skills and time management techniques.
Tutoring: Tutoring again, either in groups or one-on-one for academic subjects, homework, and test preparation.
Sports Nutrition Counseling: Individualized meal plans and professional advice on healthy eating habits designed for optimal athletic performance.
Sports Psychology Counseling: Mental conditioning coaching for stress management, self-belief, and performance anxiety or injury.

Music, Arts & Culture

At HKBK, art represents the creativity, talent, and culture present in the lives of every human being, motivating all to witness it and feel it.

Becoming an excellent professional requires much more than academics; he should possess a well-rounded personality. Keeping that in mind, HKBK would encourage active participation in such activities through clubs dedicated to debates, science, art, music, adventure, and much more.

The most important activity is the cultural fest, Calypso, organized every year to bring students and faculty together to celebrate talents and creativity. The competition fosters stronger ties between staff and students, while the excitement from the performances is usually matched by a vibrant crowd.
