B.Des in Fashion Communication at Amity School of Fashion Technology
In the B.Des Fashion Communication program, the first semester introduces students to the basics of the field, including Fashion Communication Concepts and Processes, Fashion Design and Illustration, and Fundamentals of Textiles. Students also take common curriculum courses and Communication Skills to build a strong foundation. In the second semester, the focus shifts to more advanced and industry-oriented topics, such as Fashion Design and Illustration II, Fashion History and Appreciation, an introduction to the Global Fashion and Textile Industry, and Visual Merchandising and Presentation. Students can also choose unrestricted electives, continue developing their communication skills, and learn a foreign business language, giving them a well-rounded understanding of fashion communication and the global fashion industry.
