Structure Lab
Structural lab to understand and check all types of building structures with a model‑based structural engineering lab, where the academic courses related to structure are taught with the help of various live demo models.
Library
The institute library houses a 40‑year‑rich collection of around 7,000 books on architecture, interior design, art and heritage, urbanism, planning, construction, and related fields. The collection also includes journals and professional magazines in print and online formats, videos, CDs, maps, slides, and a large number of online resources that are increasingly important to the architecture field, supporting research, teaching, and learning.
Computer Lab
A highly configured computer laboratory is available at the institute with the latest architecture and interior design software. Training, workshops, and other programmes are conducted in the digital lab.
Workshop
A facility well equipped with both digital and traditional tools. The workshop enables students to work with their hands through clay modelling, paint work, ceramics, and carpentry to understand concepts such as scale, materials, and processes throughout the development of their projects.
Climate Lab
Climate lab to understand and check all types of climatic effects in buildings. An atmosphere created with model‑based climate conditions is where the academic courses related to climatology are taught with the help of various live demo models and all other related data.
Material Lab
Material laboratory that showcases all the available building materials and study models. It has a collection of interior design and architecture fittings and fixtures with all related catalogues and samples.
Arboretum
A pocket within the campus devoted to testing and demonstrating plants. It currently houses around 50 species of plants, where varied planting mixes are experimented with.
Audio‑Visual Room
The institute has developed audio‑visual rooms to keep pace with changes in teaching methods and technology. It is essential to use various audio and visual devices for advanced teaching and learning purposes.
Auditorium
The auditorium, with a capacity of over 200 seats, is the primary performance space for all cultural events, award ceremonies, and seminars. Providing a rich audio‑visual experience within the premises, the space acts as a platform for celebration, acknowledgement, and exchange of ideas.
Canteen
A place offering moments of informal interaction and building the bond as the APIED family, the canteen serves hygienic food and refreshments. It is a dynamic activity center on the campus for students, faculty members, and visitors.
Sports
Building team spirit and taking care of the physical fitness of our students, the college playground is suitable for organizing all types of sports activities and training. The institute organizes annual sports events and encourages active student participation in sports competitions at various levels.
