Highlights GLS Institute of Design also offers a 5 years Integrated programme where students are awarded Masters Degree on successful completion of the programme. This is an ideal programme for the students having keen interest in design education and wanting to get a masters qualification with a clearly outlined specialization. The Programme completes in 5 years instead of 6 years in conventional mode, effectively saving 1 productive year for each participant. Integrated Masters Programme sets an accent for campus life, accentuates peer learning and elongates significant cultural dialogue. Integrated Masters will have core components from the B Design course followed by the specialization in any particular design track. To keep the students’ involved and to extend the teaching and learning beyond the four walls of the classroom various clubs have been formed with the students as its core members under the guidance of the faculty team. Through these groups we seek to work towards the holistic growth of the student fraternity of GLSID and make them responsible stakeholders in the glory of the institute.

The GLS Institute of Design is located in the heart of Ahmedabad, overlooking the delightful Law Garden. The campus enjoys a unique locational advantage that is both central and peaceful. The campus is close to basic amenities such as a train and bus station, an airport, banks, ATMs, doctors, hospitals, restaurants, residential areas, and recreational areas. The GLS Institute of Design is approximately 7 kilometres from the Ahmedabad railway station and approximately 12 kilometres from the Ahmedabad airport.
The campus includes open-air green space; modern classrooms that are spacious and well-equipped; a state-of-the-art auditorium with seminar and conference facilities, and an amphitheatre. The institute is one of Aruba's Wi-Fi zones. The advanced facilities, combined with the cutting-edge IT infrastructure, create a comfortable learning environment necessary for creative thinking. With thousands of books, e-books, and journals, GLS University's library is one of the most extensive in the state. The institute has its own design library.
The entire campus is monitored by CCTV cameras. The GLS University has affiliations with a handful of girls and boys hostels. Furthermore, there are numerous PG accommodations available for rent near the campus. On campus, there are two in-house canteens that cater to the needs of faculty, staff, and students. GLS has a well-organized parking facility, with security personnel closely monitoring incoming and outgoing vehicles to and from campus.
