Game and Entertainment Design
This concentrated area of study explores the creation and production of interactive entertainment and serious games. Game mechanics, story telling, user experience and visual look will all be experimented on with a practical focus in prototyping and testing. The program teaches students the skills needed to land jobs at game development studios, ed-tech and emerging areas like gamification and simulation design.
Interaction and Interface Design
Interaction Design combines digital end technology, human-centered design and user experience in order to produce innovative and intuitive digital products and services. The course provides students with theoretical and practical work into the process of designing, developing and testing interfaces and systems on a variety of platforms such as mobile, web-based, physical computing and stand-alone extended reality (XR) based system.
Strategic Design Management
This stream is at the nexus of design, business strategy and innovation management. You will learn how to apply design as a strategic tool to tackle complex business challenges, create compelling solutions and forge smarter brands within the context of an organisation s purpose. The emphasis will be on systems thinking, service design, leadership in the creative economy as well.
