NIFT Patna was started in June, 2008, from its transit campus situated in the prestigious Udyog Bhavan, Gandhi Maidan, Patna and from July 2014 it has start functioning from its own permanent campus at Mithapur Farms, Patna.
Accessory Design Lab equipped with Lathe machine and various other cutting, drilling and welding machines.
3D Printer- to make product prototypes and samples.
Photography Studio having state of art equipment: cameras, lenses, studio lights, backdrops, tripod stands, photo meters and others accessories.
Mac Lab has 21” inch latest iMacs installed with latest Adobe Creative Cloud and other design applications.
Garment Construction Lab equipped single needle lock stitch machines, Flat lock machines, over lock machines, Buttonhole machines, Steam press, Fusing Machine etc.
Pattern making Lab equipped with pattern making tables and light glass tables.
Textile Design Studio having facility to make tie-dye, batik, block print, screen print and other dyeing printing equipment.
Textile Testing Lab having array of equipment for testing of fibres, yarns, fabrics, and various associated properties like gsm, tensile strength, abrasion resistance, colour fastness, etc...
Digital Studios and IT Labs equipped with graphic work stations (Windows and Mac) installed with latest Adobe Applications like Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Animate, Dreamweaver, etc..., Corel Draw Graphic Suit, NedGraphics Printing Studio Suite like Color Reduction and Cleaning Pro, Design and Repeat Pro, Easy Coloring, etc..., Carpet, Dobby and Jacquard like Texcelle Pro, Dobby Pro, Jacquard Pro, etc..., 3DsMax, Auto CAD, MS-Office, SPSS, and other relevant applications.
Weaving Studio equipped with state of art Ashford Table Top Loom with 16 shafts, Warping frames and various other supporting accessories to make samples of simple weave structures, compound weave structures, and dobby designs.

Girls Hostel can accommodate 230 students. Out of which 50 seats are reserved for new entrants.
NIFT Patna has a fully Wi-Fi campus with 24 hours security and 24 hours of electricity with power back-up. It offers semi furnished hostel accommodation for girl students only. Room includes: Bed, Mattress, Table, Chair and Almirah. Mess services are available to all hostellers. Other facilities includes: RO Water Purifiers and coolers, Washing Machine, Refrigerator, Gym, Common Room, Indoor/ Outdoor sports facilities in campus like Table Tennis, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, etc.
