Eligibility Criteria
Nationality:
Applicants must be citizens of India.
Academic Requirements:
For both Government and Management quota, candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination in Kerala or an equivalent exam with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects, achieving at least 45% marks combined in these subjects. If Chemistry was not studied, marks in Computer Science will be considered. If neither Chemistry nor Computer Science was studied, Biotechnology marks will be considered. If Chemistry, Computer Science, and Biotechnology were not studied, Biology marks will be considered. Academic eligibility will be based on the marks listed on the candidate's Higher Secondary Board Examination mark sheet.
Candidates from SC/ST/SEBC categories and those in the PwD quota list published by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations will have a 5% reduction in the minimum required marks compared to the general category.
Age:
Applicants must be at least 17 years old by December 2024.
Entrance Exam:
Candidates must qualify in the Engineering Entrance Examination (KEAM) conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination, Government of Kerala.
Selection Process:
50% of the seats will be allocated based on the allotment list from the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations - Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram.
The remaining 50% of the seats will be filled by the College based on merit.
Preparation of Merit List and Allotment of Seats in the Management Quota:
Admission will be based on merit, combining marks obtained in the KEAM entrance examination and marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry (or equivalent) from the qualifying examination. The merit will be calculated with a 50:50 weightage for entrance exam marks and qualifying exam marks.
