Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)
For First-Year Admission:
Candidates must have passed a two-year Pre-University Examination (PUC) with Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry / Biology / Computer Science as optional subjects.
The examination should be conducted by the Pre-University Board of Karnataka State or any equivalent board recognized by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU).
A minimum of 45% marks in the optional subjects is required for general category students.
For SC/ST & Category I/II/III (Karnataka students only), the minimum percentage required is 40%, as per government regulations.
For Second-Year (Lateral Entry) Admission:
Candidates must have completed a three-year Diploma course in the respective branch, conducted by the Board of Technical Examination, Karnataka Government, or any equivalent board recognized by VTU.
Additional Information:
Admissions will follow the State Government’s reservation policy.
