Highlights The Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AIML) at NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology was established in 2021 I its opening with an enrollment of 60 students. The department is a vibrant center for academic and research activities in the area. The department being rooted in the convincing principles of academic rigor, innovation, and industry relevance, aims to equip the students with the skills and knowledge needed to be successful in the fast-moving AI and ML areas. The faculty are skilled professionals with varying AI and ML backgrounds. They merge industry practice and academic research into teaching and thus provide a stimulating learning environment. The department has committed itself to supporting students’ intellectual curiosity and bringing them through a research culture where they will be contributing to the ever-expanding body of knowledge in AI and ML.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have completed 2nd PUC / 12th grade or an equivalent examination with English as one of the languages and scored 50% marks in total in Physics and Mathematics along with one of the following: Chemistry / Bio-Technology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology.
For the candidates belonging to Karnataka Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and other Backward Classes (Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B), the minimum eligibility mark will be 45% of marks in the aggregate in optional subjects in the qualifying examination.
The University under the following categories admits candidates: NUCAT (NITTE University Common Admission Test) A national-level entrance test for students wanting to get admitted to NITTE University 120 multiple-choice questions, 120 minutes, no negative marking Online mode, dates to be announced.
