B.TECH IN COMPUTER SCIENCE & ENGINERING (CLOUD TECHNOLOGY )

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering offers B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering for the students to grasp enriched knowledge in IT industries driven curriculum. The major focus of this course is to nurture and sharpen students IT skills with project based learning. Recurrent interactions with experts from renowned IT companies help the students to learn and master emerging technologies. The course tries to fill the gap between the industry and academia with regular workshops and expert talks.

PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOS)

• Preparedness to understand & adapt with the technological advances at global level.
• An ability to analyze a problem, and identify and define the computing requirements appropriate to its solution.
• To provide in-depth technical knowledge to design and develop solutions of real-world engineering problems.

PROGRAMME OUTCOME

• Applying knowledge of science, computing and mathematics to solutions of problems associated with the discipline for society and the environment
• Creating technical leaders who are also aware of professional ethics
• Solving significant real life problems across a broad range that benefits the students to create successful careers in industry, academia, and public service
• Ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science and engineering fundamentals to the solution of complex engineering problems.
• Able to identify, formulate and analyze complex engineering problems to obtain valid conclusions using principles of mathematics, natural sciences and engineering sciences.
• Ability to design solutions of complex engineering problems as well as can design system processes that meet the specified needs with the appropriate consideration for societal and environmental considerations.
• Able to use research-based knowledge and research methods including design, analysis and interpretation of data to provide valid conclusions.
• Able to use modern IT tools to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
• Understanding of the social, cultural, global and environmental responsibilities of a professional engineer.
• Understanding of impact of professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts and demonstrate the knowledge of and need for sustainable development.
• Understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities and commitment to them.
• Ability to function effectively as an individual and in a group with the capacity to be a leader or manager
• Ability to communicate effectively, not only with engineers, but also with the community at large.
