At Present the University is offering B.Tech Civil Engineering admission for the academic session 2024-25. Core subjects taught in this programme are basic and advanced levels in mechanics/dynamics of soils, structures and fluids together with surveying, transportation, environmental engineering, construction technology and construction project management. In addition, students acquire comprehensive knowledge of Civil Engineering including Civil drafting tools, associated BIM technologies such as Revit Architecture and Structure, Revit MEP, Model Authoring in BIM, Overview of Digital Twin with Virtual reality integration in BIM, planning and costing in BIM and BIM Management.
Usha Martin University was set up in 2012 vide Usha Martin University, Jharkhand Act 2012, to carry its mandate of providing inclusive quality higher education in different fields for sustainable development of the society in the state of Jharkhand and be in conformity with the priorities of the Ministry of Education, Govt. of Jharkhand
The University is duly recognised by the University Grants Commission under Sec. 2(f) of UGC Act 1956 as a self-financing Private University. Usha Martin University offers a wide range of programmes across disciplies and at various levels of Diploma, UG, PG and Ph.D programmes.
