The Usha Martin University was established in 2012 vide Usha Martin University, Jharkhand Act 2012, to achieve its objects by providing quality education in various different spheres for inclusive growth and development of society in the state of Jharkhand and in accordance with the priority of the Ministry of Education, Govt. of Jharkhand
The University is well known as recognized by the University Grants Commission under Sec. 2(f) of UGC Act 1956 under the brand name of the university established in accordance with section 3 of UGC Act 1956 under the label of a self-financing Private University. Academics Usha Martin University offers a variety of programmes spanning different disciplies and at Diploma, UG, PG and Ph. D programmes.
The University shall seek to identify and develop local talent and resources and provide a stimulating environment for teaching, learning and research not only for the people of Ekiti State, but also for those of other States of Nigeria and indeed other countries of the world.
