Highlights Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) offers a 5-year integrated dual degree Masters program. This program includes B.Tech and M.Tech courses. JNTUH offers 24 B.Tech programs and 68 M.Tech programs. Some of the B.Tech programs include: Civil Engineering Computer Science Engineering Electronics and Communication Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical and Electronics Engineering Chemical Engineering Metallurgical Engineering Some of the M.Tech programs include: Structural Engineering Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.
The infrastructure development in the past two decades in the college has been substantial. Presently the college has eight Engineering Departments viz Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering and Chemical Engineering and four Sciences and Humanities Departments (Maths, Physics, Chemistry and HSS).
The 3 boys hostel blocks namely Manjeera, Kinnera and Gowthami provide shelter and mess facilities for 1200 boys along with 3 hostel blocks for girls namely Kamala Nehru, Saraswathi and Gayathri providing accommodation for 900 girls. Further on campus there are facilities such as Banks, Post Office, Canteen, Health Centre, Guest House, Sports complex, Auditorium.

The College Library was established in 1965. As the tune with the College and University growth the Library has also grown. By 2004 it has grown to 30,000 volumes and 70 journals. In 2004 the College Library was merged with University Library and renamed as University Library, a central facility for all the units of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. The digital library was setup in 1st floor of college library building with 50 computers in 2016. The Library collection consists of Text books, Reference books, Print Journals, News papers, e-Journals & e-books. |
Hostels
All the constituent colleges/units of JNTUH have hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The Hostels are under the control of respective Principal / Director. One Hostel Manager for each College / unit and one Deputy Warden for each hostel are appointed from teaching faculty to take care of the students. Student representatives are also involved in maintenance of the hostels. This year one girls’ hostel namely Gayatri Hostel was constructed in the main campus at Kukatpally, Hyderabad.
