Established in 1973, Seshadripuram College quickly earned a prominent place among the few undergraduate colleges in Bangalore at that time and is today recognized among the leading BCA Colleges in Bangalore. Over the past five decades, while the number of degree colleges in the city has grown rapidly, Seshadripuram College has consistently maintained its reputation for quality education. The college offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) degree course. The BCA degree course program focuses on building strong foundations in programming, database management, and software development, combining theoretical learning with practical exposure to prepare students for careers in the IT industry or higher studies.
The institution was the first among affiliated colleges under Bangalore University to be granted PG courses and to introduce the BBA program. It is currently affiliated with Bengaluru City University following the university trifurcation process, continuing its tradition of academic excellence.
