Highlights Established in 2005, the Department of Computer Applications offers a 2-year MCA program, with 9 batches graduated. The department has 11 staff members, including 2 Associate Professors and 6 Assistant Professors, focusing on innovative teaching methods. State-of-the-art facilities include a Seminar Hall, Department Library, and a dedicated Computer Lab with 42 nodes. Students receive additional training in mock interviews, group discussions, aptitude tests, and soft skills, along with an annual study tour for industry exposure.

About us
Lourdes Matha College of Science and Technology, a leading institution in South Kerala, was founded by Rev. Fr. Joseph Kurinjiparampil with the support of Syrian Catholic parishioners in Thiruvananthapuram, under the guidance of His Grace Mar Joseph Powathil, the then Archbishop of Changanacherry.
The college, established by the Lourdes Matha Catholic Educational Society, is officially recognized by the Government of Kerala and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) as of May 27, 2002, and is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.
Located on a 25-acre campus in Kuttichal, a serene village just 24 km from Thiruvananthapuram, the college enjoys a picturesque setting with lush green rubber plantations and the misty Western Ghats. This tranquil environment is ideal for focused and harmonious study.
The vision of the Lourdes Matha Educational Society is to create a "Centre of Excellence" in engineering and technology, dedicated to shaping world-class professionals. The college is guided by His Grace Mar Joseph Perumthottam, the Archbishop of Changanassery, as the Patron and Spiritual Guide, with His Excellency Mar Thomas Tharayil serving as President.
