The B.A. LL.B. at GNIOT is a five-year integrated programme structured across ten semesters, combining subjects from both Arts and Law. In the early phase, students build a foundation in disciplines such as political science, sociology, economics, and history, which helps them understand the social context in which laws operate. As they move ahead, core legal subjects such as constitutional law, criminal law, civil law, and corporate law take centre stage. The course is carefully designed to maintain a balance between theory and application—students regularly participate in moot court sessions, legal drafting, research work, and internships with law firms, courts, and NGOs. What makes the experience more engaging is the “learning by doing” approach—legal aid clinics, mock trials, and interactions with experts turn everyday learning into something practical and immersive.
