The B.A. LL. B. (Hons.) The BA LLB programme at The Neotia University has been designed for students looking to create a robust legal career with a strong foothold in humanities. The five and a half year duration of the course deals thoroughly with topics ranging from sociology, political science, history & economics to constitutional law, corporate law, criminal law & environmental law. The curriculum has been prepared in consultations with legal practitioners, academicians and leaders from industry. It follows the Bar Council of India guidelines to provide in-depth academic inputs along with case study-based learning. Legal teaching is continued through moot court sessions, client counselling practice, legal research projects and legal aid work alongside internships with law firms, NGOs, corporate legal departments and judicial bodies to provide practical industry experience. Appearances of Judges and Senior Advocates through Guest lectures/seminars/workshops would help draw out the professional abilities. Upon graduation, students can either specialise in litigation or corporate legal services and even pursue a career in policy advisory, which then paves the way for higher studies in law.
