Government Law College, Mumbai, offers the LLB course, which tentatively commences at the beginning of July. This integrated degree spans five years. The first two years encompass pre-law courses in economics, history, political science, sociology, logic, and English, forming the basis of a strong liberal arts education in the humanities and social sciences. In the third year and beyond, students take more advanced courses in areas such as constitutional law, criminal law, contracts, property law, company law, and international law. It stresses both the academic and vocational aspects, helping students become familiar with how the law is applied in practice, including case studies, legal drafting, and courtroom proceedings. The Program culminates in sending students to various career practices of litigation, judicial clerkship, corporate law, legal consulting, and public policy.
