Highlights The Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy and Management (PGPPM) is a 40-week modular and hybrid PG Diploma programme offered by IIMB, which is aimed at enhancing efficiency, leadership and management skills among policy makers and administrators. PGPPM was introduced in 2001 along with the establishment of the Centre for Public Policy (CPP), with initial support also from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India (GoI) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). PGPPM alumni have been instrumental in initiating new policies and steering policy changes in their roles. They have also made significant academic contributions through papers and books.

Eligibility Criteria for Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy and Management (PGP-PPM) at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore
Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for PwD) for non-government/open participants.
Minimum five years of full-time work experience after graduation, preferably in a public policy or administrative domain.
All India Services, Central & State Services (organised/non-organised, technical/non-technical), faculty members of State Training Institutes, and mid-career officers are eligible.
For open applicants, relevant experience in policy, management, consulting, or the social sector is valued.
