Ph.D in Business Management
The Ph. D. in Business Management is a research doctorate that can be completed between 3 to 5 years time. Core coursework in the program includes Research Methodology, IT enabled Research and Preparation of a Research Proposal PART I. In this stage, students "learn how to do real research."
In addition to the required courses, students select elective topics according to their research background. These electives span Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, Marketing, Accounting and Finance, Wholistic Management. The study program aims to complement theoretical knowledge and hands-on experiences in the field of study, which the students have selected as their specialization.
Candidates also present progress reports and seminars on a regular basis to the faculty, who will provide feedback for improvement to relevant research. A final step is the dissertation, for which students will conduct an original experiment, write their thesis, and present it to a committee of experts.
